The Client
Dexterous Endoscopes is a Swiss MedTech startup born at EPFL Lausanne. Founded by researchers Yegor Piskarev and Yi Sun, the company pioneers variable-stiffness technology, enabling ENT surgeons to reach areas that traditional scopes cannot safely reach.
The Challenge
At a critical stage of investor outreach and clinical partnerships, Dexterous needed more than a great product. They needed a story that captured their mission, connected emotionally with their audiences, and provided a strong foundation for growth. The founders had their innovation validated and patents secured, but their brand story was still taking shape. Like many early-stage teams, they struggled to find the time and structure to articulate who they are and why their work matters. They needed to:

We facilitated a focused Brand Essence Workshop with the founders – two hours of structured conversation designed to uncover what truly drives Dexterous.
Through strategic exercises and open discussion, we explored:

- The values shaping the team’s culture
Our strategist then translated these insights into a Brand Essence deck – a clear, actionable framework to guide every message and presentation moving forward.
